These mysterious beings come from a realm of shadow and darkness deep within the Infernal, beyond the void and abyss. The dark lands cast in the light of three moons, no sun ever rising or setting. Haunting forests stretch for miles, with deep valleys and canyons winding through the thick forests. Large black glittering cities carve out their places amongst the thick woods and daring gorges.
In this dark land exist the Shadow Shifters, their true appearances are safely guarded and saved for those closest to them. Their original forms are startling, unnerving, and something most choose not to stay appearing as. These shifters can change into any form they choose, not limited by our Earthly boundaries. Some prefer animals, others prefer different creatures that do not exist on the Earthly plane. Some choose different humanoid looks and others still choose something darker and more frightful. They are masters of shapeshifting and can teach some skills to you as well.
Shadow Shifters are masters in traveling portals, along the astral planes, and the in-between liminal spaces. They have yet to find a place they cannot reach or explore, daring to go places other entities wouldn't dare to go, pushing the limits of their traveling abilities. Which is something they greatly enjoy, traveling the realms and portals, discovering new places, and exploring the oddities of the astral.
Not only are they amazing travelers and shifters, they excel in aiding in shadow work as the darkest parts of the mind are something they are uniquely familiar with. Their mental prowess is infamous amongst the shadow realms and their abilities are welcomed sights to bear witness to.
